Easter and gym spring show

Our easter decorations with a rooster made by Julianna and traditional budding branches.

We did not make to much of Easter this year but the kids went Easter egg "trick or treating" like its common to do in Sweden. They are dressed up as witches and give out Easter cards for sweets and coins.  

They also got filled easter eggs (large) at home that they had to search for by following clues as riddles and other pretty tricky notes. We all had a blast. Sebastian got picture clues and he found his first.
Carin and I went to a celebration with the group that we are to perform a theatre with this summer. Here Carin is finishing second in the egg hitting competition.

Julianna danced streetdance in her first dance competition this weekend. She came in fifth and it was a fun experience.

I want to add this picture as well but I do not get why it does not show up correctly. In the picture programs and previews it is the correct way but not here! Anyway, this is Sebastian climbing a tree. When we went to the park last week he said he wanted to climb and I said okay thinking he would only get to the first branch but he really got up there and very confidently climbed down as well. We got another monkey in the family!

Elena and Carin participated in the making of and performed in a cabare´!  

Bart, Julianna and I dressed up and enjoyed the show very much that lasted until midnight!

Sebastian and I checked out the beach one day, there was still ice on the lake but Sebastian very much wanted to have a boat to go out in.

I have been making some raw food cakes lately, here sebastian is helping me decorate one. He really loves them!

Remember that I took Julianna and 2 friends to Stockholm a few times last fall for participating in a TV show? Well, it aired and they were great! Everyone in school (in town?) watched the show and the girls got a lot of attention and praise for how brave they were. A month and a half later..

This time of the year just seems to go and go on, like a void between the cold and warmth. Some days are nice but then again, a snowstorm and I just feel like staying in bed.
I went abroad (yes!) with Sebastian and it was a great adventure. We took the cheap airline to Germany, it became a 12 hour trip from door to door. Sebastian is not trained, like the girls were, to travel and relax anywhere, but it worked out pretty good anyway. We had a nice time visiting Bart (that worked down there for 3 weeks). I participated in a singing workshop that was awsome, escpecially after feeling very humble and week to my knees singing in front of 20 people that I did not know. But I learned plenty (had a private lesson as well) and I am loving singing even more.
Sebastian spent his birthday in Germany and then at home as well. He loved it, he was so happy!!!

Leo is so cute and fun! He's gotten real fur now and is quite tall as well.

This time of the year means mud as the ground is defrosting and Leo becomes black and white. Carin is carrying Sebastian, tired after being out with the horses.

 

 

At the lake again, he loves to play with water. We are hoping he'll be a swimmer as well. We met another dog and they had a great time playing.
