Back ... with wonderful summer memories

Wow, it´s been three months! Well I´d like to share some more wonderful summer memories from Falkenberg.

My sister spent some fun weeks with us! Here at Olofsbo beach.

It was a hot summer and we spent plenty of time at the nearest lake to cool off.
In the beginning Sebastian was happiest on the dock but eventually enjoyed the water more and more.

Beach fun!

Julianna loved jumping from the dunes.

Fun with the camera...

Julianna, Elsa and Elena at the lake.

We had visitors from the Netherlands. Sebastian loved playing with Govin.

Janne, who is doing fabulously, playing with Sebastian.

Julianna performing a dressage program with Micko.

Sebastian loves to ride too!

Elena with her summer horse Viola. She performed both a dressage and jumping program.

Micko got to come to the lake as well cause he loves to swim!

A view of Sweden from the only height in the south, a long ridge.

Blueberry picking was fun and so tasty!

Fun at the lake.

Horse action!

Great friends Elsa and Julianna.

Govins sister Alaina and Sebastian looks happy here but argued more then agreed.

Wonderful birthday weekend

I had my birthday and no I did not get this Ferrari as a present, but it would have been nice...
We drove down south with our camper to Falkenberg.
We enjoyed a wonderful wedding east of Halmstad as my childhood friend Jenny married her true love.

It was fun to dress up and the weather was incredibly warm! Elena was wearing my graduation dress that my mother sewed. Here you can see how tall she is now!

Childhood friends; Hanna, Jenny, Petra, Frida and Monika.

Elena looooved the wedding cake!

We visited with my mother and Janne and it was really great to be with them.

New developments in Falkenberg. Quite some contrast!

Happy New Year 2010!

I am so excited about this year! I smell change in the air and feel trust and so much love, although the world seems to be in chaos. There will be stillness in the center of the chaos.
It was now a year ago we moved back to Sweden. I have been in the same country for a whole year for the first time since I was 17. I had the travel bug really bugging me for this holiday but I am so grateful we stayed home, we bonded, rested, played and just enjoyed each other´s company.
I am happy we are here, the girls feel great and they, like us, miss all of you reading this so know that you are loved. One day we´ll take a tour again and go visit everyone.
Best of New Year wishes to You!
With love and warmth and joyous wishes of dreams to be fulfilled in 2010!

Julianna and Elena with sparklers.

My mother Solveig, Elena, Sebastian, Julianna and Janne (my mom´s "cohabitant" as we call it here in Sweden).

We exchanged gifts that Santa (Janne) came with. It´s standard here that someone dresses up like Santa and delivers the presents himself (no chimney entry here, they knock on the door, loudly).

Sebastian was not afraid of Santa.

Elena with lots of baked goodies, most from the school´s holiday market where the girls sold candy and baked goods that they´ve made themselves at school.
