A beautiful summer´s day at the viking village

We went to the viking village, it´s such a nice place! The girls had friends with and they participated in lots of activities. Baked their own bread on the fire, they forged a wall hook, they melted tin for a necklace hatchet and participated in games and bow and arrow. I tried the bow and arrow too, it was fun!

Sebastian got the viking name Ulf for the day. Julianna got Helga the holy and Elena - Runa.

Moa, Sebastian and Elena eating their bread.

Doesn´t she look great- she must have viking blood in her!

This one I don´t know...! Give her a few more years an we´ll see.

Almost there Sebastian, oh I meant Ulf.

In this "stretch the leather game" Elena had 3 kids flying around her until she was the winner.
After visiting the village we had a great time at the lake in Årsunda. It had been a hot day and I LOVE getting in the water! Sebastian likes to stay by the brow of the beach and enjoys playing in the sand.

Viking Village

Not far from Sandviken is a Viking Village. We spent a day there in July and it was a wonderful visit. Some people live there and they were so peaceful, playful and the forest and their village was beautiful. I took plenty of photos for you to enjoy and the girls melted pewter to make a hammer for a power necklace.
